Thank you for scheduling your pool opening with J&M Pool Company. Pool openings are billed at $300 and due upon completion.
The following services are included in your opening:
Our technicians will be removing and folding your cover, de-winterizing the pool, reinstalling all plugs and pool hardware, starting up your pool equipment, and applying a “Start-up” dose of chlorine shock to sanitize the water.
Primary equipment, including pump(s), filter, and sanitizers, will be turned on for normal use and assessed for proper function. If the technician notes any issues with leaking or equipment functionality, you will be notified and a repair estimate can be provided promptly. Please give us a call and we can schedule a time for a diagnostic visit with one of our service managers.
If you have a tarp cover, please be sure the cover is free of debris and water accumulation prior to the visit. In the event you are not able to remove the water or debris from your cover, please give us a call so we can provide an estimate to do so prior to opening. This service is not a clean-up. The quality of your pool water condition is highly dependent on when/how it was closed, how long it’s been closed, and cover condition. In the event your pool water contains debris or has algae present upon cover removal, J&M recommends the immediate commencement of clean up services. J&M offers clean up services at $85 per visit plus the cost of chemicals.
