Step 1: Fill an empty bucket with pool water to about an inch from the top.
Step 2: Place the bucket on the first or second step of the pool.
Step 3: Mark the water level inside the bucket with tape.
Step 4: Mark the water level on the outside of the bucket with tape.
Step 5: After 24 hours, compare the two levels. If the pool water on the outside of the bucket has gone down more than the inside, there is probably a leak.
Step 6: Call J&M Pool Company to schedule a pool leak detection.
